What is Art Silver Clay ?
It is a water-based clay made of pure silver powder, water and non-toxic organic binder (bonding agent.) Once Art Silver Clay is dried, it becomes hard like plaster, enabling you to carve it, engrave it, file it and sand it to a perfect finish before firing. After firing, Art Silver Clay becomes 99.9% pure silver which can be hallmarked.
I am a member of the Art Clay World Guild UK, have passed there Level 1 Certificate. I have taken the Level 2 course and am currently waiting on the results from my assessment pieces.
At present I only have a few items to display here.
All items are made to order and are hand crafted, so there may be slight variations in size and design.
Any silver items that weighs over 7.78g has to be sent away for hallmarking.
